Dr. Nishal Patel joined Esthetique Dentistry of Ashburn in July 2016, quickly becoming one of the practice's most beloved providers. Born in New York and raised in Chester, Virginia, Dr. Patel earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from James Madison University before pursuing her dental degree at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry, one of the most respected dental programs in the mid-Atlantic region.
Following dental school, Dr. Patel completed a one-year hospital-based General Practice Residency at Wellspan York Hospital in York, Pennsylvania, where she gained extensive experience managing complex cases across adult and pediatric populations in a multidisciplinary setting. This hospital training gives her a clinical depth that distinguishes her approach to even routine restorative procedures.
Dr. Patel is particularly well-known for her work with children and anxious patients. Her natural warmth, unhurried chair-side manner, and expertise in pain-free anesthesia techniques, including nitrous oxide and computer-controlled delivery, have earned her a loyal following among patients who have struggled with dental anxiety.
