Adults with healthy teeth and gums who want to address extrinsic staining from coffee, tea, wine, or tobacco are excellent candidates. Zoom! is less effective on intrinsic staining (inside the tooth) or on crowns and veneers.

Whitening gel does not change the color of dental restorations such as crowns, veneers, or bonding. If your visible restorations are already matched to your natural teeth, whitening may create a mismatch. We discuss this during your consultation.

We recommend avoiding dark or staining foods and beverages (coffee, tea, red wine, berries, tomato sauce) for 48 hours after treatment, the "white diet" period when enamel pores are most open and susceptible to restaining.
